WASHINGTON - Washington Nationals manager Matt Williams said the last time he was part of three consecutive walk-off wins he was playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks. This time the Diamondbacks were the ones being beaten. Adam LaRoche hit a game-winning solo home run with two outs in the 11th inning to help the Nationals beat the Diamondbacks 5-4 Monday night for their seventh straight win. It was the third walk-off win in as many days for NL-East leading Washington, the first two coming against the Pirates. "They dont come around very often thats for sure," Williams said, "but (we) just keep fighting.which is a great trait to have." LaRoche sent a 3-1 pitch from Will Harris (0-3) off the wall in the back of the Nationals bullpen and was mobbed by his teammates at home plate. "I got every bit of it, I did," LaRoche said. Just a crazy few days. I dont know how weve gotten these walk off situations the last few days, but we have and have been able to grind back." It was LaRoches first career walk-off homer. "Nice to get my first one, it took me long enough," the 34-year-old said. Winning pitcher Craig Stammen (3-4) pitched out of a bases-loaded, no outs jam in the top of the inning. "We missed our opportunity, me striking out instead of putting the ball in play," said Didi Gregorius, who made the second out against Stammen. Arizona tied it 4-4 when David Peralta led off the ninth with a solo homer off Tyler Clippard. Washington trailed 3-2 when Denard Span doubled with one-out in the eighth against Brad Ziegler and Anthony Rendon followed with a triple to tie it. Jayson Werth then scored Rendon with a sacrifice fly. Miguel Montero had three hits for Arizona, and rookie Ender Inciarte extended his hitting streak to 18 games. Arizona had taken the lead in the top of the eighth. Jake Lamb drew a lead-off walk off Jordan Zimmermann, and Gregorius sent a 3-2 fastball into the Nationals bullpen for his fifth home run. Wilson Ramos had given Washington a 2-1 lead with a two-run homer off Arizona starter Vidal Nuno in the seventh. Nuno, winless in eight starts with the Diamondbacks, pitched well, allowing two runs and five hits over seven innings. Zimmermann went seven-plus innings, allowing three runs on four hits. His three walks were a season-high. He faced the minimum through four innings thanks to a pair of double plays. In the fifth however, the first two Diamondbacks reached base via a walk and a single. Manager Kirk Gibson had No. 6 hitter Jordan Pacheco bunt the runners over, and Lambs sacrifice fly made it 1-0. SCARY MOMENT Washington second baseman Asdrubal Cabrera was shaken up, but remained in the game after a third-inning collision at second base. On a sacrifice bunt attempt by Jordan Zimmermann, Cabrera slid into second and the side of his head slammed against the knee of Gregoriuss, who was fielding the throw. Cabrera remained on the ground for several minutes as manager Matt Williams and the trainer came out to check on him. Cristian Pavon Argentina Jersey . PETERSBURG, Fla. Manchester Uniteds already arduous season just got tougher. The English champions were drawn Friday to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinals, pitting them against the defending champions and the favourites. "I was thrilled that we were in the draw. In a lot of ways, it didnt matter who we drew," said Manchester United manager David Moyes, who has led United into the quarterfinals for the first time since reaching the 2011 final. "But we have pulled out the favourites." In the other quarterfinal pairings, Real Madrid will face Borussia Dortmund in a rematch of last years semifinals, Spanish clubs Barcelona and Atletico Madrid will meet for a spot in the next round, and Paris Saint-German will take on 2012 champion Chelsea. United and Barcelona will host the opening two matches on April 1, while Madrid and PSG are at home for their first legs on April 2. The return legs will be played on April 8-9. Five-time champion Bayern will be looking to heap even more pressure on Moyes. United is a disappointing seventh in the Premier League and likely needs to win the Champions League to qualify for next seasons competition. "Perhaps they are not in the best form, but they are still a top team," said Bayern winger Arjen Robben, who scored a late goal to eliminate United from the competition at the same stage four years ago. "Its a good draw, we play away first." Bayern, meanwhilee, is unbeaten in 50 Bundesliga games under coach Pep Guardiola and leads second-place Dortmund by 23 points.dddddddddddd Dortmund beat Madrid in the semifinals last year before losing to Bayern in the final at Wembley Stadium. But Madrid is unbeaten in 31 games in all competitions, and Cristiano Ronaldo leads the Champions League with 13 goals this season. "When you repeatedly make the last eight you have to count on meeting one team often," Dortmund coach Juergen Klopp said. "It could be an advantage that we first play in Madrid. Its no time to raise the white flag yet." Three Spanish clubs reached the quarterfinals and at least one is guaranteed to play in the semifinals. Although four-time champion Barcelona has excelled in the Champions League, the Spanish champions have had an irregular season at home and have yet to beat Atletico in three games -- all draws. "Being an opponent we know can be helpful or not. There wont be any surprises," Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes said. "They are a tough rival. We cant allow any goals at home." For Chelsea, coach Jose Mourinho will need to come up with a strategy to stop Zlatan Ibrahimovic when the English leaders travel across the channel to face French champion PSG in the first leg. Mourinho led Chelsea against PSG in the tournaments group stage in 2004-05, when the Blues won 3-0 in Paris before a scoreless draw at home. ' ' '
